Catering for all skill levels, our learn to swim and squad training sessions allow children to be placed into small sized classes aligned with their swimming ability. Whether they are getting their first exposure to swimming; learning all four strokes; or mastering their racing techniques our classes will help them to continue to grow and develop their skills.
Due to the popularity of our lessons, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are unsure what level your child is, our qualified instructors are available to assist you. We recommend, for your child to achieve the best results, attending two lessons per week.

The fine print
Swimmers:
- are required to wear swimwear and bathing cap
- are highly recommended to wear a rashie (sunshirt) and goggles
- should clearly label their property, and be responsible for their own belongings
- in squad require a pair (2) of fins/flippers (these may be borrowed if required)
Safety
- Children are to be collected from the pool by parents/carers as soon as the lesson is completed.
- In the event of a thunderstorm, learn to swim and squads may be cancelled at the discretion of the instructor/coach.
- If a lesson is missed due to illness, the instructor may be able to schedule a replacement lesson depending on availability. Please do not attend another session without the instructors permission as staff-to-child ratios are important for our children’s safety.
Progress
- Transition squad is for swimmers who have reached a certain competency (technical and confidence) and display a maturity and desire to graduate to the squad environment. Swimmers should be available to attend at least 2 squad classes per week.
- Progression to the next level is unlikely to occur mid-term. Progression is on the recommendation of the instructor.
